Baldwin Park Unified Recognizes Attendance Awareness Month
Baldwin Park Unified is joining a nationwide campaign to promote Attendance Awareness Month in September, and is working to reduce chronic absenteeism for the 2023-24 school year! Good attendance is essential to academic success; however, many students are at risk academically because they are chronically absent. Chronic absence is described as missing 10% of the school year — or about 18 days — for any reason. Let's build a habit and culture of regular attendance!
