I grew up in Los Angeles in a large family. Two weeks after my High School graduation, I went straight to Northern California to attend Sonoma State University. I later transferred to the California State University of Stanislaus, which is in Central California. I also attended the California State University of Los Angeles to clear my teaching credential . I began my career in  teaching Migrant students at their homes and their schools while in college at the young age of 19. I have been teaching in Baldwin Park since 1993. I have taught at Tracy Elementary, Elwin Elementary, and now at Central Elementary for twelve years. I am currently teaching Second Grade. I enjoy the Arts and Theatre.
